Cree SmartCast Technology simplifies lighting for specifiers, installers and owners. The lighting control is as easy as selecting luminaries and switches with no extra devices to specify and no sensor layouts. You can install the luminaries and switches at the press of a button to set up and calibrate. The luminaries and switches work together to then save owners money doing smart things like dimming in response to daylight and vacancy.
Change Light Color at Any Time
Cree luminaries featuring field adjustable color temperature (CR Series) integrated with SmartCast Technology enhance commercial building design by eliminating the need to decide on color temperature at installation. “This is especially attractive to Electrical Distributors who no longer will have the need to stock multiple lighting options,” says Jimm Reifsnyder at Western Lighting & Energy Controls. SmartCast-Technology-enabled CR Series LED troffers enable the use of only one troffer type in any space, regardless of lighting preference. Adjustable color temperature is available from 3000K to 5000K in 500K increments.
Code Compliant
The combined technology from Cree provides simplified specification, ordering, and installation with a lighting-control system that reduces energy consumption- making it a competitive Title 24 solution. Even as the lights graduate to a warmer color, they will not lose efficiency thanks to Cree’s True White Color technology. Cree’s True White Technology features the same Lumen output at all levels and is exclusive to Cree products.
