Western is pleased to announce the addition of Nest Thermostat to our product line. Nest offers three key wireless products: the Nest Learning Thermostat (climate control), Nest Protect (smoke & carbon monoxide alarm) and Nest Cam Indoor and Nest Cam Outdoor (security cameras).

Nest works seamlessly with Caséta Wireless. The Nest lineup can be added to the Caséta App to control climate, alarms, and video security. When considering an entry-level system to control lighting, shades, climate, alarms, and more, look no further than Caséta Wireless as a turn-key solution.

The Lutron App for Caséta Wireless allows remote control of lighting and shades. By adding the Nest Learning Thermostat, remote control now includes climate.

Nest Protect™ Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm: If the Nest Protect™ alarm detects smoke or carbon monoxide (CO), Caséta Wireless can automatically turn on lights and open shades, to light the path to safety. With lights and shades activated, emergency personnel have a clearer path in.

Nest Home/Away and Caséta can automatically adjust the lights, shades, and temperature whether the house is occupied or not. Nest Cam includes motion detection, and through the Caséta App can turn lights on to make the house appear occupied.

Getting Started with Caséta and Nest is easy: Begin with the Caséta Dimmer Kit which includes Smart Bridge (for wall and ceiling lights), remote and one dimmer. Install the Caséta Wireless system and connect it to a wi-fi router.

The Nest products are installed next, and also connected to the wi-fi router. Finally, the Nest products are added to the Lutron app when detected on the network.
