Cellular shades, also called Cellular Blinds, resemble traditional pleated shades when viewed from the room. These cellular shades are constructed from at least two sheets of light-weight fabric. Depending on the amount of light desired to be blocked from the room, different level of opacaties can be selected.
The fabric is pleated in a way where pockets of air are formed to help insulate the room. The cells created are used to protect heat loss in the winter and heat absorption in the summer.
Cellular shades are easily integrated with Lutron lighting controls, including GRAFIK Eye QS and Quantum systems.
